Michael Jakobi
Michael Jakobi ist seit 2014 als Berater und Projektmanager bei der contagi GROUP. Im Bereich Advisory ist er seit 2019 bei der contagi DIGITAL IMPACT GROUP (coDIG) in der Beratung rund um digitale Infrastrukturen und Digitalisierung tätig. Zuvor verantwortete er als Project Manager der contagi PERSONAL Mandate in der Personal- und Organisationsberatung mit Schwerpunkt Real Estate & Construction.
Als Managing Partner der coDIG verantwortet Michael den Geschäftsbereich Digitale Infrastruktur: Studien, Analysen und Beratungsmandate rund um den Markt, die Schaffung sowie den Betrieb und die Nutzung von digitalen Infrastrukturen und insbesondere Rechenzentren, u.a. im Rahmen von Wirtschaftlichkeits-/Standort- und Machbarkeitsanalysen, Projektentwicklungen und -management, sowie Design und Evaluation von Business- und ESG-Konzepten. Dabei fließt sein umfangreiches Wissen über Unternehmens- und Organisationsstrukturen ebenso ein, wie sein Netzwerk, das sowohl die Branchen Rechenzentren/ITK und Utilities umfasst, als auch Unternehmen und Ansprechpartner im gesamten Immobilien-Lebenszyklus, vom internationalen Bau- oder Investment-Haus bis zum Proptech.
Der gebürtige Thüringer wohnt im Frankfurter Ostend und ist von seinem Hintergrund Wirtschaftsrechtler (LL.M.) sowie Uptime akkreditierter Operations Specialist für Rechenzentren. Wenn er sich kurzzeitig von seinen Projekten lösen kann, besucht Michael Museen und Theater, Kunst- und Kulturzentren in Deutschland, Europa und der Welt.
Michael Jakobi has been a consultant and project manager at the contagi GROUP since 2014. Since 2019, he has been part of contagi DIGITAL IMPACT GROUP (coDIG), advising clients on digital infrastructure and digital transformation. Prior to that, he managed mandates in HR and organizational consulting at contagi PERSONAL, with a focus on the real estate and construction sectors.
As Managing Partner of coDIG, Michael leads the Digital Infrastructure division, overseeing studies, analyses, and consulting projects related to the market, development, operation, and utilization of digital infrastructure—particularly data centers. His work includes feasibility, location, and profitability assessments, project development and management, and the design and evaluation of business and ESG concepts. His deep knowledge of corporate and organizational structures, combined with a broad network spanning the data center/ICT and utilities sectors, as well as stakeholders across the entire real estate lifecycle—from global construction and investment firms to proptechs—adds significant value to his work.
Originally from Thüringen, Michael now lives in Frankfurt’s Ostend district. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Business Law and is an Uptime-accredited Operations Specialist for data centers. When he manages to step away from his projects, he enjoys visiting museums, theaters, and cultural institutions across Germany, Europe, and beyond.
