Markus Helbling

Mr. Markus Helbling is the Associate Partner and the Contact Person of JP contagi Asia, leading our office in Malaysia. Mr. Helbling has been an entrepreneur in Malaysia for over ten years and a proven track record in the areas of general management, project management, business development, as well as communications and marketing. He supported numerous German-speaking companies in various industries in their internationalization processes in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

In Switzerland, Mr. Helbling worked for big name media companies like Ringier, Swiss Radio and Television (SRF) and CH Media for over twelve years. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Bern and an Executive Master in Communications Management from the University of Lugano.

Mr. Helbling served as a Board Member of the Swiss-Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (SMCC) between 2017 and 2021, from 2020 to 2021 as a Vice Chairman.

In der Schweiz war Herr Helbling über zwölf Jahre für grosse Medienunternehmen wie Ringier, Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen (SRF) und CH Media tätig. Er verfügt über einen Masterabschluss der Universität Bern und einen Executive Master in Communications Management der Universität Lugano.

Von 2017 bis 2021 war Herr Helbling Vorstandsmitglied der Swiss-Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (SMCC), zwischen 2020 und 2021 als Vice Chairman.
