Michael Jakobi

Michael Jakobi has been a consultant and project manager at the contagi GROUP since 2014. In the area of Advisory, he has been working for the contagi DIGITAL IMPACT GROUP (coDIG) in consulting projects around digital infrastructures and digitalization since 2019. Previously, as Project Manager of the contagi PERSONAL, he was responsible for mandates in HR and organizational consulting with a focus on Real Estate & Construction.

As Managing Partner of coDIG, Michael is responsible for the business area Digital Infrastructure: studies, analyses and consulting mandates around the market, the creation as well as the operation and use of digital infrastructures and in particular data centers, among others in the context of profitability/site and feasibility analyses, project developments and management, as well as design and evaluation of business and ESG concepts. His extensive knowledge of corporate and organizational structures flows into this, as does his network, which includes both the data center/ITC and utilities sectors, as well as companies and contacts throughout the real estate lifecycle, from international construction or investment houses to proptech.

Born in the central German state Thuringia, he lives in Frankfurt’s East End with a background as business lawyer (LL.M.) as well as a Uptime accredited Operations Specialist for data centers. When he can get away from his projects for a short time, Michael visits museums and theaters, art and cultural centers in Germany, Europe and the world.
