
Manufacturing Data Analytics Leader / BDM

For one of our clients in Zurich, we are seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Data & Analytics Leader / BDM. This role is highly strategic and client facing position focusing on driving significant value for clients in the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to client stakeholders and technical teams, guiding them through complex data analytics challenges.
- Drive business development by identifying and pursuing opportunities to sell data analytics services to Chief Data Officers and other key decision-makers.
- Develop and present compelling presentations to senior customer executives and stakeholders.
- Lead customer workshops to create data analytics charters and robust business cases.
- Generate data analytics project opportunities through proactive demand creation with customers.
- Lead Data & Analytics Assessment, Strategy, and Roadmap engagements, including driving customer workshops for analytics use cases.
- Own and lead stages of the presales cycle (RFI, RFP) and contribute to the development of solutions for presales activities.
- Coordinate between stakeholders at various levels of client organizations during pre-sales activities.
Requirements
- 15+ years of overall experience, with significant experience in a leadership role within data analytics.
- Extensive experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks) and Lakehouse architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to connect with customer business stakeholders to articulate business problems and propose effective data analytics solutions.
- Deep understanding of the entire data life cycle, including ingestion, modeling, data quality, data governance, and analytics solutions.
- Proven experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in both German (Swiss German) and English is required.
